HOW MANY PHOTOS DO YOU INCLUDE IN A TYPICAL WEDDING?
I honestly cannot give you a specific number, because each event varies in the number of images delivered. These are your memories, and I promise to capture them extensively. I will give you a plethora of images to remember your special day.
WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?
I always share several Instagram teasers within 24-48 hours after your event! With elopements and small, intimate weddings, I will have your images uploaded to a private, password-protected gallery within 45 days. Larger weddings may take approximately 60 days to process. I make every attempt to get your images to you as quickly as possible!
ONE OF US IS VERY, VERY, VERY CAMERA SHY.
My guess is your loved one isn’t more camera shy than I am, so I have the utmost empathy! I’ve photographed the shiest of the shy, as well as some folks with, shall I say, healthy self-confidence (I’ve experienced a lot of personalities as a long-time photojournalist) and I promise to help your camera-shy loved-one relax and have fun.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN PHOTOGRAPHING WEDDINGS?
I photographed my first Yosemite wedding in 1996 – wow I was young then! This was the first wedding I photographed, for a friend, and it was a beautiful outdoor summer wedding, followed by an Ahwahnee Hotel reception. I had no idea then that the Yosemite area would become my home. Since that time, I became a photojournalist and commercial photographer, and my work has appeared in National Geographic Magazine, NY Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, San Francisco Chronicle, Alaska Magazine and countless other print, online and television outlets. Though I’ve lost count of the number of couples I have photographed, I certainly remember their joy.
HOW DO WE RESERVE OUR SESSION & MAKE PAYMENTS?
With a $1000 down payment, I will officially book your day. The remaining balance is due two weeks prior to your session. I accept checks and PayPal. (There is a 3% fee when paying with PayPal.)
WHAT IF WE NEED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE?
All retainers are 100% non-refundable without a 30-day notice in writing. If you’ve already put a retainer down on a date then have to cancel it, I will return 50% of your retainer with the 30-day notice. A new deposit will have to be made in order to hold your new date. If you just need to move your date and I am available: you’re covered.
WHAT IF YOU CAN'T MAKE IT TO OUR EVENT?
I would only miss your wedding or special event if it were entirely out of my control (a serious illness or accident, death, act of god, etc.). I would do my best to help find a replacement that I trust implicitly, though I am unable to guarantee an alternate. If I can’t make it to our agreed-upon date, your money will be refunded, minus a $250 administration fee.
